                                       And so...the drawers were added.
In our dreams emerge the subconscious mind, the part of ourselves with which we might not be fully aware yet still influence our actions. Like the subconscious mind a drawer houses contents that are perhaps forgotten yet tell a story that was part of a person's history, a ticket stub, a button from a favorite pair of pants, a photo, a note from a friend.

In this piece I related a tree to the human mind. Something that is always growing and changing,  that is influenced by it's surrounding yet unique. 


At this stage plaster bandages were being applied to the outer surface of the chicken wire. Here it is possible to see the contours of the tree taking form in plaster.
